Embryology laboratory
The unseen but important stages of treatment
This is our own in-house embryology laboratory — eggs, sperm and embryos are assessed on-site, under controlled conditions. The method used depends on individual medical indications.
Laboratory team
Embryologists carry out cell assessment, documentation and the required laboratory procedures.
Equipment and technology
The laboratory is organised to maintain controlled temperature, air quality and culture conditions required for embryology procedures; equipment follows a scheduled maintenance and inspection routine.
Quality and traceability
Identity checks, documentation, temperature and equipment controls are core parts of laboratory safety.
ICSI and fertilisation
When medically indicated, a selected sperm cell may be injected into an egg under a microscope.
Embryo observation
Development after fertilisation is assessed on defined days and documented by the clinical team.
Vitrification
Suitable eggs or embryos may be stored using a rapid-freezing method.
