Can I get pregnant with low AMH?

AMH is a hormone that reflects ovarian reserve — the approximate number of eggs. It shows quantity, not quality. So a low AMH does not mean "pregnancy is impossible", especially in younger women.
What low AMH changes:
— The chance of natural pregnancy still depends mainly on age, not on AMH.
— In IVF, a response with fewer eggs is expected; the doctor chooses the protocol accordingly and sets realistic expectations from the start.
— Time matters: with a low reserve it is better not to postpone the decision.
Assessment looks at AMH together with an ultrasound in the first days of the cycle (antral follicle count) and other hormones; no conclusion is drawn from a single AMH number. Your age, history and your partner's tests are assessed together.
