If only one fallopian tube is open, is natural pregnancy possible?

Specialist answer

Specialist answer

Yes, it is. If one of the fallopian tubes is open and functioning, natural pregnancy remains possible. Ovulation, ovarian function, the condition of the uterus and your partner's semen analysis also play an important role.

So the single fact that "one tube is open" is not enough for a definite conclusion. At the examination, the doctor assesses all factors together and advises accordingly — whether to wait for natural pregnancy or to start additional treatment.
