What determines the cost of IVF?

The cost of IVF differs from patient to patient because it depends on several items:
— Type of treatment: insemination (IUI), IVF, ICSI and IMSI involve different laboratory steps.
— Medication protocol: the dose of stimulation drugs depends on age, ovarian reserve and previous response. This is the most variable item.
— Additional procedures: TESE, embryo freezing and storage, genetic testing (PGT) are added only when needed.
— Tests: some may already have been done; valid results are not repeated.
That is why we do not publish a single figure: one number either misleads someone or produces "surprise extras" later. After the consultation you receive a written, itemised proposal that states clearly what is included and what is charged separately.
